Kitchen Stove Venting

This is where the new stove vent will be installed.

The area where it will vent to the outside. 

First, the hole. 

Then, the vent cover. 

Installation completed.

Dry Rot Damage Under Sliding Glass Door

The damage to this area was caused by an old concrete ramp that wasn't allowing the area to dry out between rainstorms. 

 

Here's a close up of the rot. 

 

Consider It Done Construction removed the damaged wood, and replaced it with pressure treated outdoor wood. 

 

We then added a simple step. 

Water will no longer be trapped here. 

Replacing Rotted Post

In wet climates, the bottom of posts tend to rot. This one needed to be replaced.

The home owner will paint the new post as soon as the rains stop.

Small Backyard Shed

First, the concrete slab was installed, then Consider It Done Construction begin building the small shed.

 We added a lockable door, and 3 tab roofing material.

Here's one more shot with the door open.

The customer plans to paint the small backyard shed himself.

Replacement Steps

 The dry rot on these steps were making it dangerous to enter the building.

 The right corner had sunk along with that side of the building. Consider It Done Construction lifted the right side up as much as possible before rebuilding the stairs. 

 

 This is the after shot. We replaced the rotted wood with pressure treated and outdoor wood. 

The stairs still slant just a little. It would be a major renovation to take make the stairs perfectly level.

Exterior Painting

Deck Replacement
