A Comical Stack of Books

Sorry for the blurry before picture!
The owner wanted a stack of books (on that little wooden table) to reach the ceiling. Seriously. This is going to be fun.

We've secured a cable to the ceiling, drilled the books, and attached the little table to the wall for stability.

The best part is when you touch the books, they wobble like they're going to fall. But, because they're attached to the floor, wall, and ceiling, they'll move but won't topple.
Definitely a conversation piece!

Remote Pellet Stove Operation

The customer asked if Consider It Done Construction could find a way to operate an existing pellet stove via the internet.

It took some research, and a modified Honeywell WiFi thermostat to do the job.

Any smartphone will work.

Driveway Cleaning

The moss growth, with pine needles and leaves on top, made walking on this sloped driveway/walkway like walking on ice.

Following a pressure wash, that slipping problem is fixed.

Adding Vents

Following a Home Inspection, it was found the underside of this house needed more ventilation (fresh air) to reduce moisture.

Consider It Done Construction added the venting on the access panels and the vents above them allow air to move freely.

Gravel Under House

We had the gravel delivered as close to 'under the house' as we could.

We had to wheel it way down the slope to here.

6 mil black plastic works as a moisture/vapor barrier.

One of the least glamorous jobs we do, but necessary to reduce moisture under the house.

Gravel-Be-Gone!
We clean up after ourselves, it's part of every job.

Ceiling Hole too Large

Whoops, the homeowner made the hole too big.
Can't put a light fixture here until it's fixed.

The ceiling is plaster, so it took a little doing to support the repair.
 Drying. Getting better.

Nice!
Once the light is installed, it will look like the mistake never happened.

Exterior Trim Paint

 The masking was tedious.

But, wow. Wasn't it worth it?
